The full version of Rectoly, free for PhD Lounge listeners
Thank you for listening to my conversation with Luis on PhD Lounge. The first 30 listeners who write to me get the full version of Rectoly for free — no code to type and no date it runs out.
Rectoly reads the papers in your Zotero or Mendeley library: two-column papers in one column, your notes and handwriting sent back to your library, on iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux.
1. Get the app for your library
Rectoly comes as two apps. Choose the one for the reference manager you use.
Sign in with your Zotero or Mendeley account. Every feature is free for 14 days anyway, so you can start reading straight away.
2. Write to me
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject “PhD Lounge” and tell me:
- Which app: Rectoly for Zotero or Rectoly for Mendeley.
- Which devices you will read on: iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac or Linux.
- Zotero: your Zotero username (the one you sign in to zotero.org with; Zotero’s Settings › Sync shows it).
- Mendeley: nothing more. I will reply with the way to unlock it on your device.
3. Keep reading
I unlock your account by hand and reply, usually within two days. One unlock covers every device signed in to the same Zotero or Mendeley account.
One app per listener, for the first 30 listeners. If the places are gone when you write, I will say so in my reply — the 14-day trial is still yours.
Your email address is used only to reply to you. On our side, the unlock is stored against your Zotero or Mendeley account ID, not your name or address. See Privacy.
Thank you — all 30 places have been taken
Thank you to every PhD Lounge listener who wrote to me. All 30 free places have now been given out, so this offer is closed.
If you wrote to me before the places ran out, I will still reply to you.
You can still try every feature of Rectoly free for 14 days. Thank you for your interest — I hope Rectoly keeps making your reading a little easier.
